Biography
Wang Weilian, Doctor of Literature, Associate Professor of Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University, Director of Creative Writing Teaching and Research Section. He is a member of China Writers Association, vice chairman of Guangzhou Writers Association, and honorary professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He published novels such as “The Uncaptured Future,” “The Inner Face,” “Invading Your Room,” “The Sound of Salt Formation,” and “Life Upside Down,” as well as a collection of literary essays such as “The Sorrow of Being Unable to Nomad”. He published a science fiction collection called “Planets and Memories” in Italy and a novel collection called “Book Fish” in Korea, which received high praise. He is one of the important representatives of young Chinese writers, and the collection of works by young Chinese novelists, “The Sound of Salt Formation,” was published in the United States under the title of his novel. He has won dozens of literary awards, including the first “Purple Gold·People’s Literature Star” literary award, the October Literature Award, the Flower City Literature Award, the Mao Dun Literature Newcomer Award, the Gold Award in the Chinese Science Fiction Literature Competition, and the Chinese Excellent Publication Award.
