Biography

Pedro d’Alte (1985, Porto) is a post-doctoral student in Portuguese Studies at Universidade Aberta, where he has been studying and promoting the theme of female representation and authorship in Portuguese literature in the East. He holds a PhD in Child Studies from the University of Minho, where he developed the theme of Literary Education in Portugal and its challenges and possibilities. Between 2009 and 2014, he taught at the National University of Timor Lorosa’e, contributing to the teaching of Portuguese culture and literature and also to the initial training of teachers. Since 2017, he has collaborated with the Portuguese School of Macau and, for the last three years, also with the Polytechnic University of Macau on a part-time basis.
