Xi Wa

Xi Wa was born in Tibet in the 1970s, raised in the hometown of Chinese poet Li Bai, and is now living in Beijing. She is a metaphysics enthusiast. She has published various works including novels After heaven is Shanghai, 《情人在前》，Bejing makes you cry and  anthology I will send you myself with pieces. She was awarded the Bronze Poetry Award of the first “Li Bai Poetry Prize” and the Silver Poetry Award of the third one. Xi Wa was also the Top Ten Network Poet in 2010 of “Chinese Poetry”. She got the Annual Poetry Prize of The Poetic Tide in 2014, Luo Yi He Poetry Prize in 2015 and the first China Good Poetry Award of Shi Kan. Her poetries were translated into German, English, Japanese, and Korean. She also hosts the poetry section in the Programme The edge of Art.
