TIM SIMPSON

Tim Simpson is associate professor of communication at the University of Macau, where he has worked since 2001. His research interests focus on Asian cities; consumer architectures and environments; Chinese tourism and consumption practices; material and immaterial forms of gambling; and ethnographic approaches to everyday life. He is the co-author (with photographer Roger Palmer) of the volume Macao Macau (Black Dog Publishing).
