Biography
Nick Groom is Professor of Literature in English at the University of Macau, where he teaches Shakespearean tragedy. Among his books are Introducing Shakespeare (translated into Chinese: 莎士比亚/国画通识丛书) and an edition of Samuel Johnson’s Shakespeare. He is also the author of Twenty-First-Century Tolkien: What Middle-Earth Means To Us Today published in 2022 and republished in an expanded edition in September 2023; the book was shortlisted for The Tolkien Society Best Book Award 2023.
