Mariana Pinto Leitão Pereira

Mariana Pinto Leitão Pereira, PhD Candidate at the Cambridge Heritage Research Centre (University of Cambridge), researches how diaspora communities express identity through cultural heritage. After graduating from her MPhil in Archaeological Heritage and Museums (University of Cambridge), and MA in World Heritage Studies (BTU-Cottbus- Senftenberg, Germany), Mariana worked as an archaeologist and heritage expert for the Department of Cultural Heritage at the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macau SAR. She is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).
