Biography

Lam Kong Chuen is an artist, writer, independent city scholar and currently a partner at LAM & TSANG Architects. He has studied architecture and art, has served as a guest lecturer at Harvard University and the University of Southern California design course, and has served as a mentor for art and scriptwriting courses at several universities. His focus is on crossdisciplinary research and practical activities in poetry and architecture. He coined the English compound word “Poetrarchitism” combining poetry and architecture. He has written a variety of poems, reviews, novels and essays, and his literary works have been translated into a variety of languages. His published works include The Sky of Poetry and Architecture, Lightning of Economics and The Day of Mortgage. He has also had academic papers published in the journals of Tsinghua University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He created a series of works combining poetry and architectural skills. His works are highly praised by famous foreign poets.
