KUOK HOU TANG

Born in Macau in 1989 with a BA in Sociology from the University of Macau, Tang is a founder of the Macau photo collective Dialect. He has participated in more than 60 arts exhibitions in Macau and overseas besides five solo shows. He takes on such themes as city, time, memory and local culture to explore, through man-made landscape, the interconnection among urbanites, landscapes and human existence versus Nature, as well as their respective meaning. His photobook LINE is now in the collections of the Centre George Pompidou, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia and Gulbenkian museum libraries.
