Biography
Hu Ching-fang (C.F. Hu, Lolita Hu) is an essayist and novelist. Born in Taipei, she lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, publishes books and writes columns in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Singapore. Her works explore urban life in big cities, cultural identities in a global world, the unavoidable fate of solitude of the modern human being. Her book The Third Person received Taiwan’s Golden Tripod Award for the best literary publication. Her most recent publication is Floating in 2014, a collection of short stories. She is currently based in New York, after relocating from Tokyo.
