GISELA CASIMIRO

Writer and artist Gisela Casimiro was born in Guinea-Bissau in 1984 and has lived in Portugal since the end of the 80s. She has studied Languages, Culture and Literature and has had her works published in Portugal, Brazil and Turkey. In 2017 she was invited to attend the International Young Writers Meeting and presented her collections in Istanbul, Konya and Gaziantep. She is now a columnist for Hoje Macau newspaper, and her first book of poems, Erosion, was published by Urutau (Brazil) in 2018. She is also a theatre performer.
