Biography

Fido Nesti was born in São Paulo in 1971. He has been working with illustration and comics for over thirty years. His drawings can be seen in the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper and The New Yorker magazine, among others; as well as on the covers and books of various publishers. He illustrated Os Lusíadas em Quadrinhos (Peirópolis, 2006), A Máquina de Goldberg (Quadrinhos na Cia., 2012) and 1984 (Quadrinhos na Cia., 2020), an adaptation of George Orwell’s work, which was a Jabuti finalist and winner of the Eisner Awards, the main prize in the North American comics industry.
