Biography

Elvis Mok is a Macau poet from the 80s and an educator in calligraphy and Chinese language. He has also worked as a secondary school teacher and as an instructor appointed by the Cultural Affairs Bureau to deliver lectures on cultural topics. He co-founded the Macau Outersky Poet Association with friends in 2002 and now serves as Director-General of the Association. He is well known for his “slender gold” style calligraphy, and his poetry publications include The Gentle Exile, Narrative Poems, The Matters Confirmed and Pretty Good to Live an Idle Life: a Three-line Poetry Collection.
